How To Use Check Box in Windows To Choose Multiple Files


Microsoft windows allows users to have check boxes next to each of the information in windows Explorer. This can make it simpler and quicker to choose, copy, cut, and remove several information. Follow the below steps to enable this function on your computer.

  1. Open Windows Explorer by pushing the Windows Key + E.
  2. In Windows Explorer click on Tools and then Directory Alternatives.
  3. In Directory Alternatives simply choose the Perspective tab.
  4. In the Perspective tab, search down and check the "Use check boxes to choose items" choice, as shown in the below picture.
  5. Click Apply and then Ok to save the change.


Once this choice has been allowed, in Windows Explorer you'll have the choice to check each file or file by moving your mouse to the left of the name and selecting the check box. Below is an example of this function allowed in Ms windows Explorer and a few of the Check boxes checked.
